After weeks of being relegated to "Queen Mum"-type protocol events, the White House finally allowed Mr. V-POTUS to venture in front of the cameras. Thursday, he was allowed to go on and to attempt reassure the American people that there was nothing to worry about from the swine flu...or the more politically correct H1N1. It should have been softball. The President had already urged calm...and given hygiene hints. And, Biden was talking to Matt Lauer, who thinks that Mr. Obama can walk on the "Reflecting Pool."
